South East Heathen News (SEHN) is a publication of articles written by Heathens in the Southeastern portion of the United States, focusing on regional issues and communication. It is compiled, produced and distributed in digital format by members of the South East Kindred. The goal of this publication is to represent the Southeastern region of Heathenry to make it easier to keep up to date with the happenings across the region, getting people in contact with one another and to make it easier to know when events are occurring. This publication is not sponsored by any National Organization and the affiliation with any of these will have no bearing on the amount of material featured. Likewise, it is open to all of those that are Heathen: Ásatrú (Folkish, Tribalist, Universalist), Theodish, der Urglaawe, Fyrnsidu or any other form of Heathenry. That being said, there will be no articles that are sympathetic to Jotun/Etin worship or veneration, this is the choice of the folks that are putting together the newsletter and is non-negotiable - there are other publications that are happy to support this material. The South East Heathen News announcement letter, which includes the guidance for submissions can be found here.
We are also always looking for artwork, poetry, event information and advertisements (for free) for Heathen businesses.
We hope that this is a success and that this idea is spread to other regions in order to produce similar strengthening of regional ties.
The next deadline for submissions is the 1st of October for distribution near the middle of the same month, please see the file for more detailed information of the aims and guidelines for articles and the publication as a whole.
Hail the Gods!
